Careers Leadership and Guidance Qualifications
High-quality, personal guidance and careers education relies on trained advisers and careers leaders with specialist skills, up-to-date knowledge and the ability to deliver it effectively.
We offer accredited qualifications to anyone who provides careers advice and guidance in a professional or voluntary role. You could be working in careers guidance, in a school, college or university or human resources, learning and development and coaching and mentoring roles. Our qualifications will support you to provide expert guidance and quality advice with training that meet Gatsby benchmarks in line with the government Careers Strategy and the qualifications promoted by The Career Development Institute.
We operate an ‘experts in partnership’ model, bringing together sector expertise and excellence in assessment centre practice. Our courses are led by passionate, skilled and qualified specialists who will empower you to perform your role with increased confidence and clarity.
We are accredited by the Careers and Enterprise Company (CEC) to deliver Careers Leadership Training nationally.
The CEC commissioned high quality providers to deliver this training in response to the government’s Careers Strategy and statutory guidance meaning that all secondary schools and colleges should have a named Careers Leader in place from September 2018.
Careers Leaders are responsible and accountable for the delivery of their school’s programme of careers advice and guidance and are responsible for providing a clear overview of the school’s careers provision, and manage it to meet the eight Gatsby Benchmarks by the end of 2020.
