QCF Level 3 - NVQ Certificate in Advice and Guidance

Understanding and using a range of tools and techniques to deliver information and communicate effectively is an important aspect of the role of an adviser. Providing advice and guidance to clients in a way which best suits their needs is essential to help them get the most from their career support. This training helps advisers become competent in establishing communication with clients and supporting them to make best use of the service. It also develops professional framework knowledge.

This qualification is suitable for candidates who are working in a designated advice and/or guidance organisation whose work includes advice, guidance or provision of information to clients. It is the ideal first step to a professional qualification for those working in community settings, charitable organisations and government funded schemes. There are no formal entry requirements.

The credit required for this qualification is 21 credits to be obtained from 4 mandatory and 3 optional units.
