About the Recruitment Day

Futures for Business are proud to be working with Nottingham City Homes (NCH) in order to support their recruitment of apprenticeships to help develop the excellent service that is offered to their tenants across the city.

NCH will be recruiting for Customer Service roles based in their contact center and Caretaker roles. Through both roles candidates will be supported to not only become a key part of the NCH team, but will have the chance to develop their skills and learn a trade at the same time.

Futures for Business, alongside NCH, will be offering Nottingham City residents a chance to upskill themselves by completing training course where they will gain a good understanding of the importance of providing excellent customer service.

About our Courses

Within this course, you will complete the following qualifications:

  • City and Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Customer Service
  • City and Guilds Level 1 Certificate in Employability

The course will include:

  • 4 weeks pre-employment training tailored toward NCH including work experience
  • Guaranteed Job interview with NCH for a Customer Service or Caretaker Apprenticeship.

Who Can Attend

You can attend this course if you:

  • Are aged 19 years old or over (must have turned 19 by 31st August 2019)
  • Have lived in the UK or a European Union (EU) / European Economic Area (EEA) Member state for three years or more or be a British / EU Citizen, or Individuals or Asylum Seekers with certain types of immigration status *
  • Are actively seeking employment and claiming an unemployment benefit of either: Universal Credit, Job Seekers Allowance, Employment Support Allowance (WRAG) or Income Support **
  • OR Must be earning under £16,009.50 annual gross salary and be ableto commit to the course.

Through our Adult Education Budget contract, we are supporting people in work to develop their English and maths skills, and people actively seeking employment can access pre-employment training and sector specific qualifications through traineeships and Sector Based Work Academies (SBWA). This is fully funded by the European Social Fund.
