Receptionist/ Barista Sodexo PET Information Day

Date: Wednesday 8th December

Time: 10am

Location: The Hub (3rd floor), 40 Friar Lane, Nottingham, NG1 6DQ

Overview

Sodexo is a global leader in Quality of Life Services based in France, with a UK head office in London, employing over 412,000 employees to deliver across 56 countries worldwide. They provide On-Site, Benefits & Rewards, and Personal & Home Services, supporting the 100 million consumers they serve every day. Their On-site services encompass food, facilities management and workplace & technical management services.

Futures for Business are proud to be working alongside Sodexo to help support recruitment for their On-Site roles within the new HMRC building in Nottingham. Together, Futures for Business and Sodexo are offering the residents of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire a chance to upskill themselves by completing a full-time 7-day training course across 2 weeks. Whilst on this course, learners will gain a strong understanding of providing excellent service to consumers and what is expected of the individual from HMRC. HMRC serves a vital purpose: they collect the money that pays for the UK’s public services and helps families and individuals with targeted financial support. The roles available within the HMRC building will be there to provide services to their staff and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of the site.

This will be formalized by each applicant working towards gaining accredited qualifications in Customer Service certificated by City and Guilds. This qualification will be made bespoke and tailored towards the needs and services offered by Sodexo.

Upon successful completion, satisfactory attendance and commitment to the course, all candidates will be offered a guaranteed interview with Sodexo for one of their Receptionist or Food Service Assistant roles within the new HMRC building in Nottingham.

Should a candidate be unsuccessful at the interview stage, they will be offered further support through our National Careers Service Contract or ESF funded provision to support them and develop their skills for them to enter sustainable employment.
