  • About the employer
  • Description
  • The Evolve Trust, The Brunts Academy

The Evolve Trust is resolute in its commitment to educate the next generation of informed citizens, introducing them to the best that has been thought and said, and instilling in them a love of knowledge and culture. Secondary education is also about the practical business of ensuring that young people receive the preparation they need to secure a fulfilling career, and have the resilience and moral character to overcome challenges and succeed.

We have enjoyed much academic success at secondary level, academic results are above the national average and the academy is Mansfield’s largest, most popular secondary school and following an inspection on the 22nd March 2017, was judged Good by Ofsted in its first short inspection since 2013. All of Brunts’ students go onto either further education, training or employment. This exemplifies high quality opportunities and an education that equips our students with the necessary and transferable skills, knowledge and understanding to ensure success. 70% of our sixth form achieved places at university last year, including places at Oxford, Warwick, Nottingham and Edinburgh. All others secured higher-level apprenticeships or training.

This is in no small part due to the hard work and dedication of our talented team of well-trained staff. Our students leave school well qualified, ready to take their next steps into work, training or further study.

Established in 2014, The Evolve Trust is an innovative and award-winning group of academies serving the town of Mansfield & the surrounding areas. The Trust includes a secondary, primary and special schools and currently educates around 2000 students aged between 3 and 18. Every school within the group is unwavering its vision:

“To open minds, creating opportunities for all to believe in themselves, achieve their potential and develop the skills needed to succeed and enjoy life.”

    Our Values

    Ambition, Integrity, Inclusivity, Resilience, Endeavour
