Can you lead your team to greatness?
We are looking for someone with a bubbly and enthusiastic personality and a 'can-do' attitude to take the customer service team at MAHAL Premier to new heights. Of course, you will be learning on the job, working toward a Customer Service level 3 qualification, so you won't be doing it alone.
You will need a good level of spoken English, good communication skills and the ability to give great service to each customer. If you are friendly, well presented and eager to learn new skills and gradually take on more responsibilities.
The role will involve:
- Demonstrating management and leadership skills, including delegating tasks to junior apprentices.
- Greeting customers and meeting their needs, which will involve point of sale transactions, using the tills and processing Lottery tickets.
- Learning about merchandising, stock control, taking deliveries, filling shelves, cashing up and shutting down.
You will be expected to also participate in training courses outside of this apprenticeship to enable you to become all round member of staff with Mahal Premier. The ideal candidate will be eager and willing to progress onto Level 4 and eventually become an area manager.
Mahal Premier have five local convenience stores across the City. They offer regular hours and can work with you on your rota, depending on the needs of the business.
