  • Nottinghamshire YMCA

In 1871, a group of friends made it their mission set up a local YMCA branch in Nottinghamshire – all these years later we are still here, supporting the community and growing to support even more young people! Based on Christian core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility – we are an autonomous regional charity devoted to promoting youth development, healthy living and social responsibility for all. Through our varied range of frontline services across the region, every programme delivered by Nottinghamshire YMCA strives to improve the mind, body and spirit of our community.

Whilst each YMCA branch is autonomous, we are proud to be part of a charity movement which supports young people both on a national and international level. You can learn about our relationship with the wider (inter)national YMCA movement by visiting the ‘Our Heritage’ page.
