The Kickstart Scheme is the creation of new 6-month job placements for young people (aged 16-24-years-old) who are currently on universal credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.

  • SpikeDM is looking to assist a proactive individual possible become a Junior Web Designer/Developer. Full training will be given, but from webpage design and development to server maintenance, social media management, web content generation and use of a range of creative programs, the Kickstart role will cover a wide range of online services based around websites and the web industry. Knowledge of the web, how websites are built and general HTML, CSS and PHP would be an advantage. What is essential and key is a genuine interest in the online world and and natural flair and strong eye for design, plus being able to work and support others is essential to learn, develop and grow with the industry. 1-2-1 Support, on the job training and development will be provided on the job, so great experience will be gained. Reviews and catchups will be planned to monitor progress and plan in areas of business further training required would be to be planned in. Full employability support will be given including help with CV & letter writing and interview skills.
