The Sales Trainee are to be the first point of communication between ourselves and the buyers and vendors. The candidate will be expected to create and maintain good relationships with both vendor and buyer and uphold the good name and reputation of NALC auctions, while simultaneously ensuring that any sales and instructions are completed swiftly and professionally. The candidate will be expected to make and receive calls, identify leads, and deal with enquiries. The candidate will also be required to update CRM systems and liaise with the Auctioneer and Marketing department. We will develop the candidate’s confidence, sales skills and help them identify good leads, while encouraging them to work on their own initiative and instinct when gaining instructions and sales. They will also learn about the auction process and the rules and regulations regarding selling at auction.
