Way2Work

For the Way2Work contract, we’re working with Nottingham City Council and partners across D2N2, supporting unemployed people who face multiple barriers into work, including:

• Low maths and language skills
• Single adult families
• BAME communities
• Over-50s
• People with disabilities or long-term health conditions

Over three years, Way2Work will provide job seekers with specific and tailored support a training to meet their needs and increase their job prospects. Individuals will also be given the opportunity to develop life skills including financial advice and route and travel planning, which is supported by financial support for childcare and travel, including bus passes to help individuals sustain their job or training placement once it starts.
