About our Courses
Futures for Business are proud to be offering you the chance to develop your skills in a variety of courses in these areas:

  • Business and Administration
  • Customer Service
  • Health and Social Care
  • European Computer Driving Licence (Advanced IT training)
  • Basic IT training
  • Employability Skills
  • Functional Skills in English and maths

All training will not only provide you with the core skills needed to work in your chosen industry, but will come with a formal qualification from City and Guilds and a possibility of a guaranteed interview with both local and national employers we are currently working with.

About the Information Day
The information day may consist of:

  • A detailed presentation about all current training opportunities
  • Basic assessments in Numeracy, Literacy and ICT
  • Meeting with one of our qualified tutors to discuss your goals and which course would be right for you

Who Can Attend
You can attend this course if you:

  • Are aged 19 years old or over (must have turned 19 by 31st August 2018)
  • Have lived in the UK or a European Union (EU) / European Economic Area (EEA) Member state for three years or more or be a British / EU Citizen, or Individuals or Asylum Seekers with certain types of immigration status*
  • Are actively seeking employment and claiming an unemployment benefit of either: Universal Credit, Job Seekers Allowance, Employment Support Allowance (WRAG) or Income Support
  • OR Must be earning under £15,736.50 annual gross salary and be able to commit to the course

Book your place

Through our Adult Education Budget contract, we are supporting people in work to develop their English and maths skills, and people actively seeking employment can access pre-employment training and sector specific qualifications through traineeships and Sector Based Work Academies (SBWA). This is fully funded by the European Social Fund.
