16 – 18 and looking for work experience? A traineeship could be just the thing!
Lasting up to two months, a traineeship blends a real, on-the-job work placement with official training to give you skills and qualifications to take with you into future jobs or courses.
You will be working with a local employer in a field that interests you, such as hospitality, retail or IT. Each week you’ll do 2 days at your work placement and 3 days training, which will lead to a Functional Skills qualification in English, Maths, digital, and vocational skills; as well a level 1 certificate in Customer Services.
